Our hotel by a river will make sure that you can sleep well after spending a day outside. Before going to bed you can relax in sauna, jacuzzi or have a little swim. And of course, our spacious restaurant awaits with delicious meals and sweet desserts.
For the next day we have already planned many tempting ways for you to enjoy the nature: Maybe you want to go to the forest, listen to its sough and breath in its calmness. Or maybe you’d rather go skiing or skating? How about drive a snowmobile, or go ice karting, or on a horse sleigh ride?
We will organize you unforgettable experiences in the nature and take care of you in our cozy hotel with good food, warm sauna and soothing moments by the fire.

Accommodation
We have in total 95 non-smoking rooms, some family rooms and 3 mini suites. Every room has shower/wc and some also bath tub. In our mini suites, you can enjoy your own private sauna. Two rooms are specially prepared for the disabled. All rooms are equipped with TV, phone and hair dryer.
Restaurants
In addition to the delicious Lappish cuisine prepared by our master chef, our main restaurant offers a peaceful view on the River Ivalo. The restaurant has 250 seats and can be divided into three separate areas if needed.
Activities
Our activity service Club Nord provide wintertime experiences such as hunting the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights), enjoying the Lappish nature driving with snowmobiles, husky dog safaris, reindeer or horse sleigh rides. In the summertime, activities include trekking, fishing, canoeing and even gold panning. A visit to the reindeer farm may be the highlight of your stay or indeed a visit to the Sami Museum Siida and the Northern Lapland Nature Centre.

Mon – Sun 7:00 am to 9:30 pm
Breakfast:
From 7:00 am to 10:00 am every morning.
Restaurant Lapin Yö:
Restaurant is open Monday – Sunday from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm (orders by 9:30 pm).
Lobby Bar and Salon:
Open Monday – Sunday from 9:00 am to 01:00 am (orders by 00:30 am).
Saunas:
Saunas are warm and ready every day from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Our hotel is closed 31.3. – 2.5.2024!
We will open our doors again on the 3rd of May 2024.

Hotel Ivalo was originally built 1982 and expanded in 1990. In addition to comfortable and pleasant accommodation, Hotel Ivalo is the place for meetings and training days, product presentations and small-scale exhibitions, weddings and other magnificent parties.
